The woman who shot five people outside a bar in the 1900 block of Market Street on Saturday night was denied entry into the establishment before she began shooting, according to the Denver Police Department.
Police responded to reports of a shooting at 11:15 p.m. and found five adult victims, all of whom sustained injuries that were not life-threatening. They are all expected to survive.
The initial investigation shows that the shooter, a woman who has not yet been identified by police, was denied entry into a bar in the area, began walking away and then returned to talk with security staff again.
As she walked away the second time, police said, she pulled out a firearm and began shooting in the direction of the bar.
