DENVER (KDVR) — Super Bowl Sunday took an unexpected turn for skiers as not one, but two moose were seen disrupting mountain traffic and hitting the slopes at a nearby resort.
On Sunday, afternoon traffic to and from the mountains hit a delay when a moose trotted down the center line of Berthoud Pass, which was captured on video by a nearby traveler.
Meanwhile, another moose was spotted on the mountain this weekend at Winter Park walking by skiers and snowboarders waiting at a ski lift. The moose got extremely close to people near the bottom of the mountain, but no injuries were reported.
