While there’s no shortage of live music in Colorado any time of year, summer festivals hit all the right notes. From city-based events such as the Five Points Jazz Festival, which is celebrating its twentieth anniversary this year, to multi-genre camping jamborees in the Rockies like Sonic Bloom, where thousands dance through the night against the backdrop of Greenhorn Mountain, varieties of sounds abound. And while the Telluride Bluegrass Festival’s fiftieth year is already sold out, you’ll find other bluegrass options, too. (This is Colorado, after all.)
