Steamboat Springs and Hayden police investigating former coach

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo — A now-former high school coach in northern Colorado is under investigation for allegedly giving Kratom to some of the players on his team.

Hayden Police (HPD) opened an investigation after reports surfaced that a coach at Hayden High School allegedly gave some of his players the substance, according to a release from the Steamboat Springs Police Department (SSPD).
