Severe weather delays, cancels hundreds of flights in Denver

Travelers should check their flight status before heading to the airport Thursday.

DENVER — More flights are canceled or delayed Thursday at Denver International Airport (DIA), a day after severe weather impacted Colorado.

As of 6:45 a.m. Thursday, 15 flights were canceled at DIA and 68 flights were delayed, according to FlightAware.

Affected airlines on Thursday include Southwest, United, Mesa, SkyWest, Delta, Frontier, and Volaris.

This comes after 135 Denver flights were canceled and almost 700 were delayed Wednesday while severe weather hit the Denver metro area and eastern plains.
