Rockies add catcher Austin Wynns, designate Yonathan Daza for assignment

The Rockies made a number of roster moves ahead of Friday night’s game against the Mets in New York.
The club activated right-handed starter Antonio Senzatela from the 15-day injured list and he will start Friday’s game.
The Rockies also activated veteran catcher Austin Wynns to the 26-man roster. Wynn was claimed off of waivers from the Dodgers on Thursday.
To make room on the roster, catcher Brian Serven was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque, and outfielder Yonathan Daza was designated for assignment.
Wynns, 32, was designated for assignment by the Dodgers on May 1 after appearing in five games, hitting 2-for-11 with a double. He spent the 2022 season with the Giants as the backup to Joey Bart, slashing .259/.313./.358 with three home runs and 21 RBIs in 65 games (177 plate…
