Residents Get High on the Cops’ Supply as CDOT Hosts Roadside Sobriety Demo Before 4/20

“Volunteers” got the chance to scarf down marijuana edibles in front of Colorado State Patrol officers this week, with the free THC treats from law enforcement part of a 4/20-related awareness program on impaired driving.

The April 19 event was as a lead-up to the Mile High City’s April 20 festivities, with Colorado Department of Transportation officials using it as an opportunity to inform residents and visitors about the dangers of driving stoned.
