DENVER — A fatal shooting Friday night in the West Colfax neighborhood stemmed from an argument between the suspect and the victim over a hit-and-run crash, according to the Denver Police Department.
DPD said the shooting happened about 11:30 p.m. in the area of West 16th Avenue and Irving Street. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he died. His name has not been released.
The suspect, 20-year-old Vincent Tapia, was arrested on first-degree murder charges, according to police. He was being held in the Denver jail.
