Police investigating Montbello homicide Saturday morning

DENVER — A person is dead after a shooting in the Montbello neighborhood Saturday morning.

The Denver Police Department (DPD) tweeted about the incident at 1:51 a.m. Saturday. The Police Department said someone was shot in the area of 50th Avenue and Quentin Street in the Montbello neighborhood. One person was found at the scene with injuries, DPD said. 

Police said the victim was later pronounced dead. DPD is now investigating the incident as a homicide. Information surrounding the incident has not been released and the identity of the victim will be…
