A shooting in Aurora Monday evening ended in the death of a 28-year-old man, Aurora police said.
Around 6:50 p.m., Aurora police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1500 block of North Beeler Street where officer found a 28-year-old man with several gunshot wounds.
The man was taken to the hospital but still died from his injuries, a recent press release from the Aurora Police Department said.
Police said that “no arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified.”
The Adams County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the victim when he is positively identified.
Police ask that anyone with information contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867, as tipsters could be rewarded up to $2,000.
