Meow Wolf’s “Trashion” Show Mixes Art, Sustainability and Fashion

Fashion isn’t always about just wearing chic clothing. It can also be an expression of who you are, and sometimes it makes a statement — a bold one. That’s the case with Matilda Marginal’s collections, in which fashion, art and sustainability collide in unconventional pieces that aren’t about adhering to fashion trends or even predominant beauty; they are there to make people think.

“I always do statements,” says Marginal. “That’s how I communicate and how I want to talk. I think that’s the best way to use your creativity and make the world better.”
