Man shot and killed in Westminster Saturday night

Westminster police are investigating a deadly shooting that killed one man Saturday night.

When the Westminster Police Department first posted about the shooting at 7:13 p.m., the victim had been transported to the hospital and officers were searching for two suspects.

According to the department, the shooting happened in the area of 92nd Avenue and Federal Boulevard.

Just over an hour later, the victim died from his injuries at the hospital and police continued to search for the suspects with K-9 units from both the Westminster Police Department and the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

K-9 units from Westminster PD and Adams County Sheriffs Department are searching the area for suspects involved in the shooting.
