I-225 shooting, 2 wounded on highway in Aurora

AURORA, Colo. — A man and a woman were shot Saturday night as they were inside a vehicle driving on Interstate 225 in Aurora, the police department said in a tweet.

The shooting happened on the northbound side of the highway near East 6th Avenue. Both victims suffered non-life threatening injuries, Aurora Police (APD) said.

No arrests have been made and at this time, police could only say that the assailants were in a black SUV.
