Former sheriff’s deputy to take plea deal in Christian Glass case

CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. — A former Clear Creek County Sheriff’s deputy is expected to agree to a plea deal and be sentenced for his part in the death of Christian Glass in June of 2022. There’s a 1:30 p.m. court hearing Thursday in Georgetown.

Glass got his car stuck on a boulder in Silver Plume and called 911 for help. He appeared to be in the midst of mental health crisis as he interacted with several law enforcement officers for over an hour.
